My name is Steve, and I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I served throughout the world in the U.S. Air Force prior to retiring from the U.S. Postal Service in 2010. I am also a freelance writer, and I love the ocean, cooking, laughter, great friends, travel, and positive vibes!
I am a Master Trainer with the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), certified as a Nutritionist, Health Coach, Fitness Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Coach, Exercise Recovery Specialist, and Online Coach.
In 2015, I weighed 280 pounds, my mobility was limited, my body ached, and I was perpetually fatigued. So to my fellow strugglers ... I can definitely relate! The journey since then has been slow and challenging, but through steady determination, optimism, and progress, I've lost over 80 pounds while dramatically improving my overall health. The goal now is to stay the course while reinforcing these innovative fitness habits into a permanent lifestyle.
